Cbank: Russian firms’ foreign debt payment to fall 13% in Jul–Sep

MOSCOW, Apr 19 (PRIME) -- Russian companies’ foreign debt payments will fall by 14% on the year to U.S. $8.1 billion in July–September, the central bank said in a statement on Monday.

"Safe for intragroup payments, the net payments can amount to $11.5 billion in the second quarter of 2021 (8% lower than in the second quarter of the previous year) and $8.1 billion in the third quarter of 2021 (14% below the second quarter of 2020)," the statement read.

Foreign debt repayment by nonfinancial organizations is estimated at $12 billion in April–June and $9.9 billion in July–September.
